Executive Director of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth Honored by Berea College

January 10, Berea, Kentucky – Burt Lauderdale, executive director of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth (KFTC), received an honorary degree of doctor of humane letters from Berea College during their recognition service for 56 graduating seniors. The Adrian Dominican Sisters, through their Portfolio Advisory Board, have been partners for years with KFTC, a statewide citizens organization aimed at “working for a new balance of power and a just society.” The organization focuses on such areas as coal and energy, economic justice, and voter empowerment.
