First Energy Coal Combustion Waste Leads Shareholders to File a Resolution

Proposal Calls for Report on Corporation’s Handling of Coal
The Camilla Madden Charitable Trust filed a resolution with FirstEnergy Corporation, requiring a report on coal combustion waste/coal ash storage. While the proposal required only a 3 percent threshold to be refilled in the 2012 proxy cycle, it garnered a resounding 36 percent preliminary vote of support. PAB Team Member Chris Matthias Interviewed
Chris Matthias, Coordinator of Corporate Responsibility for the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ Portfolio Advisory Board (PAB), was recently interviewed by Deb Berman of Justmeans.
