Proposal Calls for Report on Corporation’s Handling of Coal

The Camilla Madden Charitable Trust filed a resolution with FirstEnergy Corporation, requiring a report on coal combustion waste/coal ash storage. While the proposal required only a 3 percent threshold to be refilled in the 2012 proxy cycle, it garnered a resounding 36 percent preliminary vote of support. PAB Team Member Chris Matthias Interviewed
